Openreach – Working Together Update
As you will be aware the National Team (NT) has continued to discuss the above programme with Openreach with a view to ensuring that the terms of the Principles agreed by Conference this year are met.
These negotiations have been challenging and continue to be so. Please find attached a communication issued by Openreach which indicates that further announcements will be made next week. The process is far from complete and what may be announced next week will not be the final position.
Further information will be sent to Branches early next week and a full report will be given to the Openreach Briefing Committee due to be held on 12 August 2015 in CWU HQ.
The NT is acutely aware of the uncertainty felt by members due to the current situation but we can assure Branches that every effort is being made to reduce the numbers unable to travel in line with the agreed principles.
